Cowes Week pop up 2025

Gail Willows

Just in time for the festivities of Cowes Week, a new collaboration
and haven of art, shade, and cocktails opens its doors: The Courtyard,
an exclusive space bought together between local artists and Bar
No.46, supported by local business Olesinski.

Located next to Bar No.46, The Courtyard invites visitors to step away
from the crowds and discover a beautifully curated space celebrating
local creativity. Guests can relax in the courtyard while enjoying
local art, handcrafted cocktails, and a selection of refreshments — a
space the artists involved say champions the Isle of Wight’s creative
spirit.

Local artist and curator Gail Willows, said:

“Supporting our local high street and working entirely with Isle of
Wight artists and businesses has been at the heart of The Courtyard
from the start. We’re proud to showcase the incredible talent that
exists right here in our community, and we’re so grateful to Olesinski
for sponsoring this project and helping us bring it to life.”

The Courtyard will be open every day throughout Cowes Week, offering
visitors a chance to experience something special alongside the
world-famous sailing regatta.

Jack Anselm, owner of Bar no.46 said: “At Bar No.46 we pride ourselves
on being a little hidden gem in Cowes — serving great coffee and fresh
juices by day, and the wines, cocktails and drinks by night. It’s
really special for us to collaborate with talented local artists on
The Courtyard and bring something unique to the high street during
Cowes Week.”

The Courtyard is found next to Bar No.46 open daily during Cowes Week.
Local artists featured include Gail Willows, Brian Marriott and Anna
Wyeth.
